This policy applies to hash.alex-tim.com and describes what data the site processes and how. The site operator (the "Operator") can be contacted at info@alex-tim.com. There is no registration and no user accounts.
The text you submit to the hash, Base64 and password generators is processed in memory only to produce the result shown on the page. It is not stored, not logged and not sent to any third party. Generated passwords and Symfony secrets are created on the server with a cryptographically secure random generator and are not kept after the response is sent. The JSON validator runs entirely in your browser; the JSON never leaves your device.
The web server automatically keeps standard access logs: IP address, user agent, date and time, requested path and response status. Request bodies (the text you enter) are not logged. Logs are used only to keep the site secure and operational.
The IP page shows you your own IP address, the proxy chain from the X-Forwarded-For header and your user agent, exactly as the server received them. This information is only displayed back to you and is not stored beyond the access logs described above.
The site itself sets no cookies. Anonymous usage statistics may be collected by Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA — cross-border transfer) and Yandex.Metrika (Yandex LLC, Russia), which set their own cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser; every tool remains fully functional.
Apart from the analytics services above, no data is transferred to, sold to or shared with any third party, except where required by law.
Tool input is discarded as soon as the response is sent. Access logs are kept for at most 6 months and are removed automatically by rotation.
You may ask what data about you is processed and request its erasure. Requests are accepted at info@alex-tim.com.
